On March 4, 2024, cheers from the Taklamakan Desert echoed through the sandy sea and through the clouds. After 279 days of hard work, the drilling depth of China Petroleum's first 10000 meter deep exploration well, Deep Taco 1, has finally exceeded 10000 meters.

This move not only broke the record for the deepest well in Asia again, but also set the world record for the shortest drilling time for a 10000 meter deep well. At the same time, it also marks that China's 10000 meter drilling series technology has entered the forefront of the world. Since then, the Chinese have stepped into a new era of "marching deep into the earth".

High end substitution - production and distribution of oil drilling platforms

Behind the miracle lies the unremitting efforts of generations of oil workers and numerous enterprises. The 10000 meter drilling rig is being drilled by China Petroleum Western Drilling Company and is equipped with a domestically produced drilling rig electrical control system for the first time.
