Campus electricity usage: Safety first To comprehensively improve campus power supply reliability, eliminate operational hazards of aging electrical equipment, and ensure safe electricity usage for teaching, research, and daily life of faculty and students, Wuxi Vocational and Technical University initiated the upgrade project for the power substation in the Taihu Lake campus in 2025.

01 Project Background: Centralized Renewal of 8 Substations
Wuxi Vocational and Technical University is a provincial public full-time undergraduate vocational college, sponsored by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The school originated from Wuxi Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing School established by the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery in 1959; In June 2025, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Wuxi Vocational and Technical College was officially upgraded and established by integrating resources.

There are a total of 8 substations, and 25 frame circuit breakers need to be updated and replaced, involving multiple specifications and series.

02 Precise survey, customized solution
The company's value-added service team, in collaboration with the Wuxi office in the East China region, conducted an on-site survey on April 27th and collaborated with the technical department to customize a special replacement plan.
The implementation of the plan does not require any modification to the equivalent exchange of the original primary busbar, minimizing the impact of the renovation on the original power supply system.

03 On site service, orderly promotion
On August 4th, the substation equipment renovation project was officially launched.
The company arranges a full-time project manager to stay on site and provide full follow-up services. The on-site installation operation is undertaken by Wuxi Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd.
The project implementation process is progressing in an orderly manner, and all constructions are strictly implemented according to the previous technical plan, successfully achieving the design goal of equivalent replacement, achieving seamless connection of busbars, and smooth replacement of old and new equipment
